Book Donation and Dedication at Robbins Library

On June 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., the Robbins Library at Louisburg College received a special book donation and dedication.

The book, “North Carolina Pottery: The Collection of The Mint Museum,” was gifted to Louisburg College’s Robbins Library by the O. Henry Book Club in memory of wife and club member Dr. Linda Holley. Dr. Lester Holley also attended as a special guest.

Member Sarah Perry Mozingo ordered and received the hardcover copy of the book donated.

Dr. Linda Holley was a proud member of the O. Henry Book Club, which is based in Louisburg. She loved art and she (as well her husband, Dr. Lester Holley) collected and appreciated all kinds, especially NC pottery.

O. Henry Bookclub President Martha Leonard Mobley, as well as other members, joined Dr. Holley in honoring his wife with the book dedication. They shared lighthearted stories about Dr. Linda Holley and the O. Henry Book Club with guests and LC Library staff.
